Description Designed for serious cooks, Cuisinart's MultiClad pots and pans heat quickly and uniformly thanks to an aluminum core bonded between layers of 18/10 stainless steel. The core runs not only across the bottoms but all the way up the sides to disperse heat evenly throughout food. The nonreactive interior layer is highly polished, so it's naturally stick-resistant as well as resistant to discoloration and corrosion. A polished band just below the pots' and pans' rims handsomely accents their brushed exteriors. Add a tapered rim for drip-free pouring and polished handles riveted for strength and this 12-1/2-inch skillet with sloped sides is ideal for frying fish and chicken or sautéing onions and spinach. For pan roasting, the skillet is oven-safe to 500 degrees F.
